We place a high value on the protection of your personal information. Therefore, we adhere rigorously to all legal requirements during the entire data processing procedure (e.g. during data collection, data processing, and data transmission). Visits to our Website, as well as the use of the Online Contact Form („Contact Us“), require the collection, processing and use of personal information. Personal information includes the personal or factual individual data of an identified or identifiable natural person. In the following, we provide you with an overview of the types of data we collect, the extent to which we use and share such data, the security measures we employ to protect your data, and how you can request further information about the data processing procedures.

For purposes of the Data Protection Act, the body responsible for the collection, storage and processing of data is:

The scope of data processing depends on whether you use our Website only as a visitor, or whether you also use our Online Contact Form.

1. Collection, Processing and Use of Data
With respect to your visit to our Website we collect, process and use exclusively statistical data in summary form for statistical purposes, in order to determine the amount of incoming data traffic in case problems with our server arise, and in order to administer the Website. These data are anonymised, i.e. we cannot connect them with any individual person.
We only collect, store and use information beyond that when you voluntarily provide it to us. This may happen when using our Online Contact Form (gender, first and last name, company designation, your e-mail address and your message). We use these data according to the applicable legal regulations in order to process your request and to improve our service. This additional information, however, is not necessary when you only visit our Website.

2. Your rights
In accordance with the relevant statutory provisions, (including any applicable restrictions arising from the GDPR (the EU General Data Protection Regulation) and/or the new version of the BDSG (Federal Data Protection Act), you have the opportunity to exercise the following rights:

2.1 Information
For instance, you have the right to receive information from us about any personal data stored by us.

2.2 Correction
At your request, we will correct any of your stored data if it is inaccurate or inapplicable.

2.3 Erasure
If you wish, we will delete your data, provided there are no other legal requirements (e.g. statutory retention obligations) or an overriding interest on our part (e.g. to defend our rights and claims) that would prevent its erasure.

2.4 Limitation
With due consideration for any legal requirements, you have the right to set limits to the processing of your data.

2.5 Data transmission
You also have the right under statutory provisions to receive or transmit your data to third parties in a structured, accessible and machine-readable format.

2.6 Complaints
Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In the first instance, you are welcome to consult our data protection officer.

2.7 Objection
You have the right to object at any time to processing of your data which occurs as the result of a balancing of interests, if there are grounds for objection arising from your particular situation. This also applies to any profiling based on this provision.
If you wish to exercise any of these rights, you can contact us by using the contact details provided in Section “6. Further Information”.

3. Cookies (Not Including Google Analytics)

Our Website uses Google Analytics, a Web analysis service from Google, Inc. („Google“). Google Analytics uses so-called „cookies.“ These are text files which are placed on your computer, and which make analysis of your use of the Website possible. The complete IP address will only be transferred to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there in exceptional cases. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this Website to evaluate your use of this Website, to compile reports about Website activities, and to provide the operator of this Website with additional services related to Website activities and Internet usage. The IP address reported by your browser for purposes of Google Analytics is not combined with other data stored by Google. You can prevent the use of cookies through the appropriate setting in your browser; however, we advise you that, in that case, you will not necessarily be able to take advantage of the full functionality of this Website.
